Garden Girl USA Launches Innovative Gardening Clothes & Accessories for Women“Living happily in between modern and vintage” is the philosophy behind Lindsay Long, a new china wholesale luxury clothing and accessories line set to launch just before the holiday season in October. The company’s secret? Salmon Skin. Long imports the skins from an organic salmon farm in Europe, where they utilize the by product by turning it into beautiful leather in a rainbow of colors. Salmon skin has been very popular in European luxury fashion and interior markets, but is still relatively new to the US. It is the new sustainable alternative to exotic skins and, when mixed with the proper elements like Lindsay Long’s clothing line, is becoming a force to be reckoned with in the high-end fashion industry.
Lindsay Long is a collection of modern clothing with subtle, vintage inspired undertones. Featuring designer dresses, jackets, and accessories to match, the entire line is made in the USA with luxurious, high quality materials that are mixed with unexpected elements to create a truly unique look. Lindsay Long targets the fashion forward, career oriented woman. “ We are looking to bridge the gap between contemporary and designer brands and create a community of modern and vintage clothing lovers that are looking for a little of the best of both worlds,” states Long.
Although the collection’s official launch isn’t until the end of October, Lindsay Long is currently offering a curated selection of clothing and salmon skin accessories available at select specialty boutiques and online. Keep up with Ms. Long as she designs new and beautiful creations from salmon skin, and learn why the skin is quickly becoming the hottest trend in the luxury fashion industry.Garden Girl USA , based in Denver, Colorado, today announced its US launch of stylish, durable and highly functional gardening Clothing and Accessories. Garden Girl products are designed by women for women, inspired by input from dedicated customers in 22 countries who are avid gardeners and enjoy the outdoors.
Garden Girl was created in Sweden five years ago when founder Petra Maison, a gardener herself, realized that there were very few fashionable, comfortable and functional gardening clothes, shoes and accessories for women on the market. Garden Girl products are designed by Maison and her team in the founder’s native Sweden and are currently being introduced in boutique and gardening retail outlets in the U.S.
Garden Girl USA has an exclusive partnership with Tierra-Derco International LLC, an importer, designer and manufacturer of distinctive garden products, to distribute Garden Girl products to independent garden centers in North America.
What began with a simple pair of form-fitting, functional overalls has blossomed into a whole collection of clothing with the same qualities. Garden Girl’s products come in beautiful, feminine colors and are made to fit the female body. For example, Garden Girl’s overalls have WONDERFIT stretch side panels in various places for easy, comfortable squatting, stretching and bending and pockets for gardening tools, a smart phone and other Garden Girl accessories.
In addition to overalls, Garden Girl products include capris, shorts, skorts, tops, vests, footwear, including durable rubber boots and clogs, gloves, outerwear and accessories, including garden bags, socks, aprons, hats, scarves, knee pads and umbrellas.
“Swedes are known for creating well-designed, practical, useful products and Garden Girl is no exception,” said Linnea Geiger, Garden Girl USA spokesperson. “We are thrilled to bring a range of practical, yet women tops fashionable and fun, options to American women who love to work and play in the outdoors.”
“We are delighted to offer Garden Girl products for our customers. While we have a variety of garden-centric products in our store, Garden Girl clothing and accessories are quite unique in that they offer the functionality of men’s outdoor work clothing with a feminine look and feel,” said Nikki Depew, Owner of The Tended Thicket in Denver, CO. “With Garden Girl, women don’t have to sacrifice comfort or style to have durable, well-designed garden wear and accessories.”
